The next course starts in August 2008 at 7.30pm. Held at the NSW Writers Centre Rozelle, the course lasts for 8 weeks. All the basics of bridge are covered in the course and afterwards supervised play every Wednesday night (or Thursday morning) with players of novice standard is offered to ensure that help is available, and your new skills are reinforced. The cost of the lessons is $98, payable on the first night. You will also need Introduction to Bridge by Paul Marston ( the latest edition) which is available at the club ($15). Can't wait until then. If you have previously played bridge and are looking for a refresher, then Wednesday nights may suit you. Up until the next beginner's course starts in August Wednesday nights are supervised sessions. At the start of each session a short lesson will be presented, then play begins.
